On return from my bike ride with my mates which incredibly has now been three weeks in a row when the weather forecast has been very dubious and so with fear and trepidation heading out to just do ride from Port Melbourne to Mordialloc and back and somehow successfully avoiding rain, I joined in the house hunt for a missing set of keys. They had been pin pointed to be somewhere in the house as there was recall of coming home with a friend and using them to open the front door. The friend was contacted in case of accidentally picking them up. All chairs were searched high and low and under. Dust was unsettled in dark corners that have not seen light of day for some time. Washing line looked at and steps retraced. Pockets and bags checked and rechecked. It was getting to the point of no return and considering recutting house and car keys when the culprits were found having dropped [somehow !?!] into the laundry peg bag. Much relief and joy exclaimed by all and now catching up on the hours consumed in the search.
