Multitasking makes you stupid, studies find

multitask

I first saw this newspaper article  retweeted by Dr Mel Thomson ‏@Dr_Mel_Thomson

I have read articles and studies about this kind of thing before but this one resonated with me,  and has for a number that I have shared it with.  I particularly like the line of having a post-refractory pause and will use this phrase in place of having a senior moment when I remember too from now on.  I also like the debunking of the urban myth that women can multitask where men can’t.  The reality, as spelt out in the article,  is that we need to concentrate on one thing at a time.  Multitasking narrows our attention.  Making us stupid I guess is relative.
